About the Position: This position is with the 412th Theater Engineer Command, 412th Mission Support Element, located in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Duties

Advise on Equal Opportunity guidelines in accordance with Federal regulations. Implement Army regulations and procedures that govern Equal Opportunity matters. Administer Equal Opportunity program. Monitor execution of programs for compliance. Analyze Equal Opportunity problems to make technical decisions. Analyze statistical data to evaluate programs. Monitor Equal Opportunity activities for areas of inadequacy. Compile statistical data to complete reports. Compile tasks associated with more than one area of military. Resolve problems within the organization. Recommend logical decisions regarding the Equal Opportunity program. Review regulations to resolve equal opportunity case. Develop an Equal Opportunity program for the command. Administer Equal Opportunity training throughout United States Army Reserve Command.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes monitoring equal opportunity training, managing equal opportunity programs, and reviewing discrimination or harassment complaints. This definition is typical work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Human Resources Management and Administration Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
