As a Program Analyst, you will performs administrative work and analysis in one or more of the following areas: personnel management/administration, organizational design, workforce development, budgeting and financial management, procurement and contracting, business strategy, information technology, property management, and/or supply.
This position is located in the Office of Acquisition, National Capital Region(NCR), Public Buildings Service (PBS), General Services Administration (GSA).
Duties
Provide expertise and technical advice on all administrative matters.
Define measurements useful for specific purposes and determines the best and most efficient types of approach to the collection of quantitative information.
Perform program cost analyses such as development of life cycle or other cost analyses of projects, or performance of cost benefit or economic evaluations of programs.
Evaluate programs and processes and make recommendations for effective organizational and/or operational changes.

The GS-12 salary range starts at $99,200 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
To qualify, you must have at least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as analyzing, preparing and monitoring administrative or budget programs; performing resource review, utilization, and planning; and applying a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess organizational performance against established goals and objectives.
