As a Building Management Specialist, you develop policy within the areas of building specific training and development needs and provide authoritative input in assuring that the competencies, methods, and procedures utilized to provide agencies with efficient building management operations. Position Location: Public Buildings Service, Rocky Mountain Service Center, Colorado and Mountain Plains Branches. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
  • Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
  • Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
  • Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

Qualifications

Specialized experience is defined as: evaluating policies, implementing programs, and independently making decisions relating to the operation and maintenance of buildings and leased space; analyzing the effectiveness of facility operations, automated systems, and equipment; developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customer agencies, lessors, contractors, and client personnel; and managing or monitoring real property budgetary and financial data.
