You will serve as an ASSISTANT INSPECTOR GENERAL in the NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Duties
You will conduct investigations in a manner meeting legal and procedural requirements.
You will review audits to check if they are in compliance with appropriate regulations and directives.
You will prepare final inspection reports used to conduct associated briefings for senior leaders.
You will manage and oversee investigations to confirm the proper inquiry into standards of conduct violations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving, analyzing, and responding to complaints by interviewing complainant and determining appropriate action for complaints; 2) Planning, scheduling, and conducting detailed inspections by gathering information, tracking, and evaluating reporting data; 3) Preparing comprehensive inspection reports and; 4) Reviewing internal controls, analyzing issues, and providing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of program operations.
