About the Position: This position is located with the US Army Engineering District, Los Angeles, Operations Division. Maybe filled in either Phoenix, AZ or South El Monte, CA.

Duties
Serve as a Planning Development Team member to support engineering, environmental, natural resources, and real estate reviews for projects on considerable scope and complexity.
Applies an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods and practices as well as knowledge of methods, practices and processes of program management disciplines.
The position requires an understanding of the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) 408 Program, requirements, stakeholder engagement, Congressional interest, and time sensitive review of all 408 requests.
Serves as the district’s primary point of contact for projects assigned with resource agencies, stakeholders, Federal, state and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations and higher authorities.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes managing program, leading planning development teams engaging stakeholders, Congressional interest and sponsors.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
