You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Program Management Group, Program Personnel and Support Department (AIR-1.3) of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will review policy, directives, regulations and other guidance from higher echelons for impact on assigned programs and provide feed bask as required. You will develop detailed plans, goals and objectives for the long range implementation and administration of assigned programs. You will provide adjustment recommendations as appropriate in order to optimize the balance between funding, scheduling performance and supportability. You will analyze the interrelationships of widely diverse program requirements to achieve overall objective and goals.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: 1 Experience in delivery of products within allocated cost, schedule, technical and support bounds; 2) Demonstrating leadership skills (team building, conflict resolution, workload/priority management, technical credibility, etc); 3) Communicating skills between FST/PMA, Fleet/TYCOM and OEM/Industry; 4) Effectively explaining and documenting complex, technical problems; 5) Planning, managing and controlling designated work efforts of team members from the necessary disciplines and managing the use of resources required for successful accomplishment of assigned program areas.
