You will serve as a SUPV AIRFIELD MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Marine Corps Installation Pacific of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BLAZ.

Duties
You will provide administrative direction/ assignment in terms of long-range goals to be achieved for personnel within Airfield Operations Branch, i.e. Aviation Safety, Meteorology and Oceanography Command (METOC), and Tactical Combat Ramp section.
You will attend meetings to provide information, guidance, and recommendations on current/ future operations, airfield maintenance schedules, antiterrorism force protection security measures, airfield safety, air traffic control rules and regs, etc.
You will coordinate day-to-day requirements of both short and long-term airfield maintenance and construction projects with Naval Support Activity (NSA), Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB),36th Operations Support Squadron and 36th Civil Engineer Squadron
You will schedule and/or coordinates logistics support for the overseas deployment of tenant units and for transient units operating in and out of the airfield for major exercises and/or contingencies
You will approve or disapprove, as appropriate, requests made by tenant or transient units seeking to utilize United
States Marine Corps (USMC) airfield training areas.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position is required to have a pre-employment health assessment as part of the DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce and annually thereafter
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical expertise in Airfield Operations to include, managing day to day operations of the airfield, applying principles and methods for moving people or goods and maintaining, retailing, purchasing of automotive, rail, air, bus, or other transportation equipment.
