Duties

As a Program Manager (Chief, Safety and Occupational Health Division), GS-15 you will perform the following duties: Oversees ICE's overall strategic planning and execution of functions and activities related to Safety and Occupational Health programs; Develops nation-wide Safety and Occupational Health policy objectives and programs for ICE; Collaborates with the major ICE Program Directors and DHS to identify program goals and priorities; AND Establishes and provides policy direction and performance goals for ICE to meet federal, DHS, OMB, and Executive Orders guidance and/or mandates.

You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Identifies requirements for the appropriate Safety and Occupational Health programs and projects; Oversees the development and compilation of cost data and requirements to submit budget requests in support of Safety and Occupational Health programs; AND Provides technical guidance and preparation of documents, and ensures documents are prepared in accordance with established guidance.
