The selectee of this position serves as a Business and industry Analyst (Construction Project Manager). You will be responsible for program management support to Facilities and Construction programs including space/facilities/project management, Integrated Workplace Management System software, budgeting, and Contracting Officer's Representative.
Duties
As a Business and industry Analyst at the GS-1101-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Planning, directing, supervising and coordinating the administration and execution of all Agency programs concerning the acquisition, release, construction, renovation, repair, improvement, and management of real property for district and headquarters.
Coordinating construction projects which are often urgent and require the use of innovative problem-solving techniques.
Analyzing data and recommending space acquisitions and plans.

Qualifications
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-1101-13 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Making decisions and recommendations that will significantly change or develop policies and programs related to facilities and real property management; 2) Utilizing quantitative analysis techniques to analyze and forecast space requirements; and 3) Independently managing large-scale construction projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
