This position is located within the Environmental Management Service (EMS) at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System (NF/SG VAHCS). The primary purpose of this position is to mend and maintain textile products and employee uniforms; to include customer service with inventory management of these products.

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards. SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the on-line questionnaire. Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: No Special above-average physical demands, (ability, dexterity, or strength) are required to perform the work. Work is divided between sedentary sitting and walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting. Work is usually performed in office setting. The work areas are adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
