This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Client Services Division, Labor and Custodial Branch, Night Labor and Custodial Section, Floor Care Unit. The purpose of the position is to provide assistance to journey-level workers in, and to learn the skills associated with, cleaning floors, carpets and walls in the Senate Office Buildings.
Duties
This is an Essential-Employee Position. The employee will be required to report to work during emergencies AND inclement weather situations.
Requirements
- You must be able to pass a drug test.

Ability to perform standard cleaning methods for floors and carpets. (waxing and polishing hard floors using the applicable heavy duty devices).
