THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number T5283000 and is part of the CO USPFO Warehouse, National Guard.
The purpose is to provide storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems.
Duties
Manages supply activities to include support of inventory control, storage, distribution, cataloging, supply identification systems, property utilization, and other related activities using both STAMIS and non-STAMIS systems. Reviews procurements through the appropriate STAMIS and vendor based web sites. Reviews procurements through the appropriate STAMIS and vendor based web sites. Analyzes the integrated management of ASL stock and contingency stock. Analyzes vendor reports to determine the destination of expended funds. Manages stocks assigned to various classes of supply. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
- Must be a current or former member of the Colorado National Guard (CONG) or a current T5 or T32 Federal Technician within the CONG.
- For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
- For positions requiring the operation for motor vehicle, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
- The incumbent of this position description must have at a minimum, a completed National Agency Check (NAC) prior to position assignment.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.

Must have experience or knowledge in each of the following:
1. Requisitions, supporting documents and reference material to perform material coordination storage management responsibility for special programs, maintenance, and production shops.
2. Established supply regulations, policies, procedures, and other instructions applicable to the specific assignment.
3. Conducting extensive and exhaustive searches for required information in order to reconstruct records for complex supply transactions.
4. Routine aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures where assignments include individual case problems related to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc.

Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
