To qualify for this Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Applying management theories and concepts to disaster situations in order to manage and monitor assigned programs and make recommendations for improvement. Producing a range of visual outputs for senior leadership assessment, in addition to analytical methods and approaches for program and operational data analysis. Managing a diverse workforce as well as planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating team members' work.
