Duties

Qualifications

For the GS-09 In addition to the education required for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience using or knowledge of investigative research methods and procedures including data acquisition, analysis, documentation and presentation related to electrical engineering concepts of limited scope and complexity. For the GS-11 In addition to the education required for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience using or knowledge of investigative research methods and procedures including data acquisition, analysis, documentation and presentation to address complex electrical engineering concepts and make recommendations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
