About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command Headquarters 513th Military Intelligence Bridage Sustainment.

Duties

Conduct the planning and execution requirements of air, rail, land and sea transportation in conjunction with unit deployments. Analyze the preparation of unit equipment and personnel for deployments and deployment readiness training exercises. Assist in the management of unit's transportation funds and resources.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must successfully pass urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter, IAW Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
  • Must perform Temporary Duty (TDY) travel in CONUS and OCONUS up to 55% of the time.
  • When deployed, must carry Government Issued weapon and ammunition (sidearm only) for personal protection. See Additional Information for further details.
  • Designated Key Position: This position is designated as Key. See Additional Information for further details.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
