This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Superintendent Senate Office Buildings (SOB), Client Services Division.
Serves as a Restaurants/Events Contract Coordinator responsible for the management of food service and catering services contracts supporting the United States Senate.
Duties
This is an Essential-Employee Position. The employee may be required to report to work on days when the federal government and the AOC are closed due to inclement weather situations and other emergency situations.

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.Specialized experience is defined as having 3 of the 4 following:
Managing contractor food service, operations and catering services requirements. (ex: delivery of a quality customer experience)
Reviewing, assessing and analyzing contract invoices and reports.
Serving as a primary or alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the performance of outsourced food service operations.
Preparing detailed reports, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.
Candidates for the GS-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as having 4 of the 5 following:
Managing contractor food service, operations and catering services requirements. (ex: delivery of a quality customer experience)
Reviewing, assessing and analyzing contract invoices and reports.
Serving as a primary or alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the performance of outsourced food service operations.
Preparing detailed reports, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.
Providing recommendations for optimization of resources which support and enhance the strategic plan and vision.
Education
A bachelor’s degree or higher is desirable but not required.
