Qualifications
What are we looking for?Four years of experience and knowledge of a wide range of auditing and investigative techniques and procedures, management principles, and management control standards, one year having been at a supervisory level.Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in business or related field leading to a bachelor's degree, from an accredited college or university is preferred.Knowledge of business operations, such as: food service, recreation, retail, and club activities.Knowledge of MCCS programs, regulations, orders, and procedures.Ability to independently perform assigned studies/reviews and coordinate management control program.Skill to organize and coordinate multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.Skill to prepare executive level documents, reports, and presentations in proper format in accordance with naval correspondence. Ability to communicate orally in order to prepare reports, evaluations, recommendations, and to train staff.This is a "covered position" for the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act for Department of the Navy civilian personnel. If the incumbent comes in contact with firearms, or ammunition in this position they must complete a DD Form 2760 certifying whether, or not they have ever obtained a "qualifying conviction" for a misdemeanor, or felony crime of domestic violence. All covered employees have a continuing obligation to notify their supervisors through use of the DD Form 2760 if they obtain a qualifying conviction.This is a non-critical sensitive position, must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance level background check (Access National Agency Check with Inquiries).
