These positions are in Region 4, Water Division, Grants, Infrastructure, Non-point Source Branch, State Revolving Fund Section. About Region 4 This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. *Work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized as described in the Benefits section.

Duties

You will:- Advise and review of National State Revolving Fund (SRF) policies involving complex financial plans.

Qualifications

In addition to the education requirements, we are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below: To qualify for the GS-13 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-12 level defined as creating and analyzing State Revolving Fund (SRF) financial and/or budgetary reports, plans or briefs; writing and/or reviewing grants; analyzing financial reports or other data to evaluate the efficacy of financial programs. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of SRF financial policies or procedures; 2) Skill in oral communication; 3) Ability to develop financial policies or procedures for SRF programs; 4) Skill in written communication; 5) Ability to review and analyze financial statements. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education

You need a degree or experience as described below to qualify for this position.

You must have a bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to this position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology; OR specialized experience such as performing financial analysis and evaluation work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of (1) corporate finance and any specialized fields of finance required such as public finance, securities, international finance, money and securities markets, investments, and banking, and (2) the financial and management structure, operations, and practices of corporate and other organizations.
