You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the N4 Maintenance Department at Commander, Strategic Communications Wing One (CSCW-1) of STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS WING ONE.

Duties

You will execute policies and programs concerning the entire spectrum of aviation maintenance support equipment (SE) for all aviation Maintenance Activities within CSCW-1. You will be responsible for integrated logistic support (ILS) planning, maintenance support applications, technical documentation and logistic support. You will be responsible for the allowance and inventory management control of Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) equipment for assigned CSCW-1 activities.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
• You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing integrated logistical support (ILS) requirements and objectives for the acquisition and sustainment of aircraft weapon systems to ensure fleet operational readiness. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

OR

Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

OR
