About the Position: This position is located at Andrews AFB with the Director of Executive Medical Squadron Command in Prince George's Maryland.
Duties
Prepare a variety of recurring nonrecurring correspondence and reports.
Gather and Summarize information from files and documents for supervisors.
Receive telephone calls, greets visitors and ascertains the nature of the call or visit.
Maintain Supervisors calendars, coordinate meeting arrangements and schedules.
Inform supervisor of conflicts and reschedules appointments when necessary.
Make travel arrangements, schedule transportation, make reservations, prepares travel orders and vouchers.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
- This position requires that you obtain and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 1 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interacting with customers/staff over the phone, through electronic mail, and in person; preparing correspondence and responses; scheduling meetings and conferences; preparing a variety of spreadsheets, reports and using automated systems such as Microsoft Office Suite. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
