The Budget & Analysis Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing budgetary processes within the Western Area Power Administration. This position requires a deep understanding of financial management principles, federal budget regulations, and the ability to analyze complex financial data. The Budget & Analysis Manager collaborates with various stakeholders to develop, execute, and monitor budgets to ensure compliance with agency goals and objectives.

As a Budget Analyst you will perform the following:
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level [GS-13] in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Proficiency in conducting financial analyses, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial risk assessment. Skilled in preparing accurate and comprehensive financial reports for decision-makers, highlighting key financial trends and insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as program managers, finance personnel, auditors, and agency leadership. Demonstrated experience in facilitating finance-related discussions, resolving conflicts, and fostering a cohesive environment.
Finance Software and Tools: Familiarity with financial software and financial management tools such as Excel, SAP, Oracle, or other similar systems. Experience in leveraging these tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
