This position is located in the Office of General Counsel.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
The GSA Office of General Counsel seeks an entry level general attorney to provide quality legal support for its clients in a telework friendly environment. GSA is a large procurement agency and much of the work centers around the formation and administration of contracts to support the mission of its clients. The legal practice is broad and includes: procurement, environmental law, energy contracting, information technology, construction, services, real property, leasing, employment, litigation, etc. Some of the duties may include:

- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date.
- Register with Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

The GS-11 salary range starts at $90,310 per year.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must meet the qualifications as stated below:
This position has a positive education requirement: Applicants must submit a copy of their college or university transcript(s) and certificates by the closing date of announcements to verify qualifications. If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment.
Qualifying applicants must have:
1) Successful completion of a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association and possession of at least the initial professional law degree (J.D.); AND
2) Bar Membership: You must be an active member of the bar in good standing of a State, a Territory of the United States, District of Columbia or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
