Duties
Serves as Branch Chief for the Distribution Training Support Branch, providing expertise in the areas of instructional development, distributed learning methods, media, and conversion.
Serves as Training representative on various DLA Training and/or Agency-wide ad hoc teams that direct and oversee the implementation of distributed learning throughout the agency.
Conducts research and evaluation of the effectiveness of training to determine if objectives were met, identify areas for improvement, determine overall customer satisfaction, and determine the Division's and the Directorate's returns on investment.
Develops, coordinates, and obtains agreements with customers on project proposals which include the scope of the project, background, resource requirements.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Training Management Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes.
Performing research, analysis, development, project management, and/or evaluation of instructional development.
Assisting in the management of a variety of technical and administrative work related to training, including instructional development, multi-media, and editing.
Applying project management principles and techniques associated with course development, delivery, and maintenance.
Leading, coaching, guiding, or directing the work of other specialists to ensure the efficient/effective accomplishment of assigned functions.
