The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and program support and expert guidance to Gallery employees at all levels including Executive and Senior Level Officials and other managers on travel planning and preparation, and use of the Gallery’s Automated Travel and Expense Reimbursement System (ATERS) ConcurGov, supporting the Gallery’s travel mission and reimbursement program.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for GS-0301-11. Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the federal GS-11 level, analyzing administrative processes for an employer, to include employee travel, building services, employee training and drug/alcohol testing. Must have thorough and extensive knowledge of the federal travel regulations, NGA policies and guidelines. Knowledge of the business travel industry to include methods of reserving and purchasing airlines, hotels, rail, and rental car services. Must have knowledge of the Gallery's Automated Travel and Reimbursement System (ATERS) ConcurGov, and the ability to review, edit and process travel authorizations; retrieve administrative reports. Must be knowledgeable in the use of a variety of software programs and systems such as MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and Access, databases. Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration under merit promotion procedures.
