Duties
Post and updates program milestones.
Coordinates efforts to obtain workload data to track progress in meeting objectives and use of resources.
Analyzes statements of functions prepared by operating personnel or others and reviews related materials.
Prepares reports for higher level employees describing problems that are recurring or causing significant delays or costs, the corrective action to be taken and the need for additional time or resources.
Performs a variety of office support functions.
Conducts interviews to obtain, verify, or clarify information relating to functions.
Assists in the preparation of periodic reviews of the program.
Inputs and validates financial data in pay processing system with an associated line of accounting.
Requirements

- Time after Competitive Appointment: Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-05) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. As follows:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-05 if outside the Federal service organizing and filing records for business program operations; maintaining inventories and administrative records; preparing and reviewing outgoing correspondence for format, grammar, and typographical errors; and responding to customer inquiries relating to the business program and operations.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-05 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Education
GS-06 Substitution of Education for Experience: Six months of graduate education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is
directly related to the work of the position being filled.
