The Suborbital and Special Orbital Projects Business Branch (SSOPBB) at the Wallops Flight Facility is seeking Resources Analysts (RA). SSOPBB Resources Analysts will lead budget formulation/execution activities, such as, budget development, execution & oversight, funds allocation, cost analysis, and budget tracking, as well as, provide financial leadership and management for programs and project in the Suborbital and Special Orbital Projects Directorate.
Duties
Performs workforce analysis and administers funds control activities and develops and analyzes accounting data for financial reporting.
Develops and executes budget plans for a complex NASA financial office.
Identifies trends and takes action to ensure adequate funds for program and project coverage, prepares allocations and operating budgets and executes funds.
Develops financial reports to accurately and clearly depict spending to plan.
Prepares annual budget formulation documents and ensures that all reconciliations are made to workload data, accuracy, and distribution of programs.

Requirements
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

- If the individual selected is currently at the GS-13 grade level, they will be detailed at their current grade and step. If the individual is a current GS-12 they will be temporarily promoted to the GS-13 level.
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
Supporting budget formulation and execution activities;
Performing execution and oversight of project-related procurements and;
Utilizing financial tools, such as, SAP, Business Objects, Funds Control System, Integrated Workforce and Personnel Planning, Operating Accounts, etc.
