Qualifications

Bachelor¿s degree in Information Technology or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of progressive technical experience supporting Retail, Supply Chain, Ecommerce, Accounting or Financial applications from within a CIO¿s organization, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Knowledge in the following is preferred: UNIX/LINUX, Relational Database Management Systems, Cloud technology, and Microsoft Office Tools. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to act as project lead and advise on applications system design. Knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g, Oracle PL/SQL. Knowledge and experience with applications in a cloud environment and Software as a Service is helpful. Experience in system security and vulnerabilities is also preferred.As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems must possess or receive Information Assurance awareness by completing the Security+ Certification as a condition of access within six months of employment, and thereafter must complete annual Information Assurance awareness training.Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
