About the Position: This position is located within the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Tennessee. The incumbent will serve as the Property Book Officer for all customers in a six state Health Service Area (HSA) consisting of 19 different locations to include MEDDAC, DENTAC, and Public Health Command activities.

Duties

Serve as the Property Book Officer for all customers in a six state Health Service Area (HSA) consisting of 19 different locations to include MEDDAC, DENTAC, and Public Health Command activities. Manage non-expendable document register, document support files, property book and posting of hand receipt transactions to the property book. Prepare and review periodic report projects (excess medical and non-medical reports, lateral transfer reports, historical reports and local purchase reports and one time reports) applicable to logistical management as required. Manage the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), an automated property book operations implemented from input and out transactions performed by supply technicians and area supervisors within the Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Administer the CEEP Program for Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Instructs customers in the proper preparation of CEEP packets for equipment purchase. Establish, monitor and periodically evaluate policies and procedures to promote effective and timely review and processing of requests for procurement of equipment. Perform extensive review of medical equipment work orders, contract repairs, lifecycle data, and patient care requirements for consolidation and preparation of customer's medical maintenance service reports. Serve as Group Administrator for Invoices and Receiving Reports within the Logistics Division for all over-aged documents submitted manually or electronically to DFAS.

  • This is an inclement weather position. The incumbent is expected to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during inclement weather conditions.
  • Incumbent may be required to perform call duties; work overtime to include weekends and federal holidays, out of cycle, or unscheduled training or on an emergency basis. May require evenings/nights; rotating shifts, extended hours or other schedules.
  • This position requires occasional TDY - 5%.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
