This position is located at the Kayenta Service Unit, Division of Clinical Services, Kayenta Service Unit, Kayenta, AZ. The Health Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating the Clinical Division Medical Staff Recruitment Program and the Clinical Division Retention Program. The incumber reports to Clinical Director.

Planning, organizing and implementing a comprehensive medical/clinical recruitment and marketing program.
Conducts in-depth analysis of professional medical staffing needs. Maintains database system to track candidate(s).
Participates in job fairs, local and national conferences, and health career days at schools and universities. Serves as a liaison between individuals and Service Unit.
Collaborates with Clinical Division Chiefs and Human Resources department on various aspects of recruitment processes and staffing needs.
Establishes and maintain a comprehensive retention program, conducts and analyzes employee satisfaction surveys.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-11: Maintain a comprehensive health recruitment program, developing and implementing various marketing plans for vacant positions. Strategically consult with hiring managers, nursing manager to evaluate recruitment needs. Compile and analyze and collect data. Marketing techniques to develop appealing brochures, videos, and presentations for recruitment. OR a PhD. Or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years (54 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work or LL.M., if related.
GS-12: Use and maintain knowledge of professional health care delivery principles and practices, rules and regulations, hiring procedures, hiring incentives related to Federal civil service applicants, USPHS Commissioned Corps, and National Health Service Corps applicants. Experience involving recruitment of various health professions, qualification requirements for various health disciplines being recruiter. Developing, implementing, marketing, reporting, and collecting data for recruitment purposes.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
