This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
Duties
Manages facilities work and building projects and ensures work is compliance with policies and procedures across all DISA controlled spaces.
Attends facility meetings and provides input to Infrastructure Support Section Chief on projects, maintenance concerns, and potential outages.
Ensures the proper responses and appropriate response times are met for building component or system degradations or failures.
Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to help manage all facilities related tickets, work orders, inventory, and assets.
Monitors Building Automation System (BAS) to check on the status of power, chillers, batteries, generators, other building components, and monitor alarms.
Provides Tiered infrastructure Maintenance (TIM) Contractor Quality Assurance (AQ).
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Qualifications
Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-11, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, Qualifying Experience is defined as: Managing a wide variety of facilities maintenance requests and building projects. Knowledgeable on building systems such as Power, Generators, Batteries, Chillers, Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH), and Power Distribution Units (PDU). Experienced in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Education
Substitution of education for the specialized experience requirement at the GS-11 grade level: Three full years of graduate level education or a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree.
Major study -- engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration.
