As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Incumbent will serve as the Deputy Assistant Administrator and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Information & Technology (AIT).
Duties
The Deputy Assistant Administrator and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Information & Technology (AIT) serve as the principal advisor to the FAA Administrator and the Assistant Administrator for Finance and Management Services (AFN) on matters relating to information technology (IT) management, IT security, privacy, and data security across the FAA. This Service includes both the CIO and Deputy CIO.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
