The Air Traffic Organization (ATO) has 35,000 controllers, technicians, engineers, and support personnel whose daily efforts keep aircraft safe, separated, and on time. Mission Support Services fulfills the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) mission by providing innovative and strategic direction for infrastructure and airspace design, developing airspace policy, promoting international and domestic airspace safety, and ensuring superior execution of policies and procedures.
Duties
The Director, Strategy provides strategic leadership, configuration control, and management for airspace modernization. The Director is responsible for strategic prioritization; resource management; concepts, validation, and requirements; prioritization of airspace and performance-based navigation projects; and portfolio and stakeholder management to the ATO. The incumbent directly supports the ATO with the critical planning and development of an overarching strategy to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the National Airspace System (NAS).

Qualifications
