The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the point of contact to the activity leadership for administrative support programs to include task management, cybersecurity liaison, Travel Card program, Travel System administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Purchase Card program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment accounts, security program, supply program, timecard program and activity recognition program.
Duties
Directly assists the activity leadership in the management of all activity administrative support program functions; serves as the primary source of information.
Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
Serves as an activity liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices. Assists the activity leadership in the performance of administrative functions associated with the supervision of military and civilian employees.

- Travel and relocation expenses will not be paid.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to or above the GS-05 level in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience are duties that involve related steps, processes, or methods; prescribed data sources; stable work units, and routine or standard assignments such as compiling and computing data, identifying trends or problems, and explaining procedures. The employee determines what needs to be done making choices between a few alternatives with easily recognizable differences. Identifies the basic instructions and procedures to follow from among a few established relevant alternatives. Selects the appropriate action(s) or required response(s), considering such matters as: the nature of the task or duty; basic purposes and characteristics of the work units, management analysis or manpower program areas, or program operations involved; or readily available sources of information.
EDUCATION: One full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement, in a related field. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPT.

Combination of Education and specialized experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100 percent. To combine education and experience, determine the total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then determine the education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. Finally, add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
