Duties
This position serves as an Administrative Specialist for the Software and Systems Division and the NIST Voting project. Perform a full range of administrative transactions including, but not limited to: developing and managing procurements including serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative; serving as lead administrative person for the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC) including managing the vetting of new members, meeting management and knowledge of policies and procedures; serving as property officer, maintaining files and official record materials and disposition; maintaining multiple calendars utilizing an electronic calendaring system; arranging foreign and domestic travel and completing associated reimbursement vouchers; acquiring supplies and services through bankcard; leading the onboarding process for new employees; processing training requests,; knowledge of of electronic systems to conduct and support daily office operations. This will involve interpreting and analyzing administrative policies and providing guidance to staff on work assignments, objectives, priorities, and deadlines. Developing written documents, spreadsheets, memoranda, reports, presentations, briefing packages, and other materials for use by management. Research, analyze, and manage the coordination and outcome of various administrative projects, including the management of the special projects, space management, and event logistics.

Qualifications
All applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of the specialized experience at the GS-7 level (ZA-I at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative support including experience with procurement, automated administrative systems and oral and written communications.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
Combination of education and experience.
