Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas: DISABILITY SERVICES
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
Compiles statistics and researches information on various aspects of the EEO Program to assist the EEO Program Manager and EEO Specialists in conducting studies, developing reports and evaluating program effectiveness. Maintains research material and responds to various inquiries concerning program activities.
Assists in analyzing and identifying trends in issues and bases of informal and formal EEO discrimination complaints.
Reviews EEO informal complaint cases for correctness of format, procedures and all necessary data; inputs and maintains pre-complaint tracking system; monitors activities of counselors to insure compliance with legal and procedural time frames; and forwards correctly completed reports to the Divisions' or Core EEO offices.
Performs other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07 LEVEL: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Performing clerical and technical work in support of an EEO program. Experience compiling statistics and researching information on various aspects of programs; Experience assisting in analyzing and identifying trends in issues and bases of informal and formal complaints; Experience determining compliance with procedures in program implementation; Experience reviewing cases/files for correctness of format, procedures and necessary data; Experience operating automated systems to accomplish work assignments; Experience responding to inquiries on the complaint process.

Education
A copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
