About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at Ft. Eisenhower, Columbia, GA with US Intelligence & Security Command, 706th Military Intelligence Group
Duties
Perform duties as digital network analyst, at the National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) Georgia.
Interprets analytical findings to establish and document target development tradecraft, collection opportunities and analytic discoveries.
Coordinate NSAG collection, transcription and intelligence reporting efforts to develop near-real time intelligence analysis in support of
operational missions.
Provide production and management elements with current operational information and priorities.
Assists in the development of organizational training programs and provides target- related briefings as required.
Serve as the near-real time Information Management Specialist for their assigned division.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Position requires to possess and maintain Top Secret security access with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information.
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TOY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
- Temporary Duty (TOY) Travel may be required 15% or less of the time.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Shift work will be required.

Specialized experience is defined as: Experience with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analyst functions such as collection and transcription priority coordination, traffic analysis; and threat warning and finished intelligence reporting.
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GG/GS-11).
