About the Position: This position is located in Defense Health Headquarters, AD Healthcare Admin (AD HCA) AD HCA Business Operation and it is located in Falls Church, Virginia.

Duties
Maintains approved internal and external document management systems and assigns actions based on the function of each branch.
Reviews and analyzes administrative directives and policies to determine impact on operations.
Monitors, coordinates, and tracks all on-going and projected personnel actions and continuously apprises management of status.
Provides assistance in the interpretation and application of personnel management policies and procedures.
Prepares changes to written policies.
Review written communications.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Experience/Education requirement for an Administrative Officer, GS-0341-11:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes: preparing briefings; assisting in developing administrative policies for an organization; and reviewing communications to verify compliance with procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Healthcare Administration. You must attach transcripts to your application package.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Experience requirement for an Administrative Officer, GS-0341-12:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: preparing briefings; developing administrative policies for an organization; reviewing communications to verify compliance with procedures; and advising leadership on personnel management policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
