This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP), headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Public Health Analyst, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Leading teams that support the advancement of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. Initiative and the White House National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Managing the planning, evaluation, and implementation of continuous strategic planning public health initiatives. Collaborating with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Regional Offices as well as other federal and non-federal partners to develop public health interventions that support the implementation of prevention initiatives in high-incidence areas. Serving as a Regional Manager and oversees the day-to-day administrative and operations over a technical and support personnel.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (3) of the (4) following duties: 1. Managing the day-to-day operations of private and/or public health programs; 2. Providing consultation on public health policies to a wide range of stakeholders; 3. Providing support in strategic planning, budget formulation, security, information technology (IT) project management, program management, portfolio management, performance measurement or management processes related to public and/or private health programs; 4. Supervising or leading staff that provides administrative and/or operational support to a private and/or public health program.
