You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGMENT SPECIALIST in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Division of the Logistics and Material Department of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, Gulf Coast (SUPSHIPGC) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Duties
You will perform logistic management tasks involved in the development and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policy and procedures for assigned systems.
You will provide logistical support elements such as maintenance planning, supply support, computer resources support, training and training devices, manpower, support and test equipment and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.
You will assist senior Logistics Management Specialists in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, budget formulation, COTR performance duties, Statement of Work (SOW), development for contracts, and ILS Management Team meetings.
You will resolve logistics problems by gathering facts, defining and exploring problems, and developing alternate solutions to issues addressed in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-7) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing logistic management work involved in the development and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policy and procedures for assigned systems in support of ships. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Provide knowledge of regulation regarding the contracting of material and services; 2) Utilize knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Department of Defense contract rules and regulations sufficient to assist higher level Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel in performing their contract administration responsibilities; 3) Apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Management principles, concepts, and methodology to a variety of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) projects for ships ; and 4) Provide practical knowledge of engineering sufficient to distinguish between logistics and engineering problems to a resolution.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR I have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree that is related to the position being filled.
