Duties
Prepare and set priorities, prepare work schedule, and monitors budgetary estimates and prepares justification to obtain program fiscal resources.
Execute full range of administrative authorities to include effecting personnel actions, approving leave schedules, being the deciding official for disciplinary actions, determining training needs, and adhering to District policies.
Ensure the efficient, effective, and timely execution of the program in accordance with the established objectives, schedules, and program funds.
Oversees all phases of major projects to assure integration and coordination within established time frames and maintains corporate goals and objectives, consistent with commitments, policy, and measurable performance criteria.
Conduct periodic program review and analysis briefings to compare progress with objectives and established milestones.
Identify areas where slippage is occurring and determines required corrective action to bring project in line with established schedules.
Requirements
- A trial or probationary period may be required in accordance with agency policy.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to operate motor vehicles in accomplishing assigned duties.
- Duties require travel up to 10% of the time.
- Position requires Top Secret security Clearance
- Position requires Drug testing.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) .
- Upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.
Qualifications
About the Position: Serves as Program Manager, Support for Local Programs, such as the Medical Program, DOD MILCON, DLA, or similar programs at the Baltimore District locations to include, East Campus located at Ft. Meade, Maryland. Directs, coordinates and oversees the planning, design and construction execution of projects in consultation with functional chiefs. This involves coordinating with and planning for the various requirements of using services.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Project Management which involves management of a project's scope, schedule, and budget; (2) Providing technical guidance/leadership to team members for various projects; and (3) Resolving project issues that are either political or technical in nature.
