Duties
You will repair electric, diesel, and gasoline forklifts.
You will inspect and repair electric drive systems including electric wiring contacts, brushes, coils, switches, terminal connections, and armatures.
You will rebuild, repair, adjusts, and service hydraulic brake systems.
You will read and interpret schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
You will test, service, and charge forklift batteries.
You will use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, pressure, feeler gauges, and timing devices.
You will analyzed defects by operating equipment and locating faulty parts by using voltmeters and other testing instruments.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Reassembling equipment after completing test and repairs; 2) Repairing terminal connections, steering assemblies, and test commutations when necessary; 3) Inspects electrical circuits for grounds, faulty wiring, and defects.
