You will serve as a Production Machinery Mechanic (Electronic Industrial Controls Worker) in the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will function as a highly skilled mechanic regularly performing troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on highly complex non-conventional equipment. You will perform duties as Electronic Industrial Controls Worker performing maintenance and repair of electronic equipment of limited complexity. You will work from blueprints, technical publications, manufacturers' bulletins, and written or oral instructions. You will independently install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, align, test, and maintain unusually complex equipment and machinery such as a numerically controlled machining center.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
