The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a Tractor Operator for the unit.

Duties

Operate Zero Turn Mowers. Operate truck (platform truck, van trucks, stake trucks, dump trucks, cargo vans) to tow mowers and tractors to various locations in the park. On a recurring basis, operates farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment to maintain grounds and road medians. Operate the tractors in all types of terrain (steep and level) and along roadways. Operates mowers, front-end loading devices, movable dozer blades and backhoes.

Handled emergency road service situations. Performed routine maintenance on tractors and vehicles. I have operated dump trucks, flatbed trucks, farm-type tractor with 3-point hitch mower, and 1 ton pickup/dump truck.
