About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts at Minot AFB, ND.
This is a Flexible (Flex) Position (0 - 40 per week), there are no guaranteed hours. Flexible employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool.
No medical/dental/retirement/sick/vacation/401K benefits are available to flexible employees.
Duties
Performs and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the Arts & Crafts Center. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: sells resale store merchandise, takes reservations and payment for classes for classes, ensuring all proper money handling procedures are followed. Assists in marking stock for sale, stocking merchandise to the shelves, taking orders for special orders of any items. Assist in setting up displays and decorations for special events. Becomes familiar with and/or knows where to find information concerning programs within the Force Support Squadron. Assists in inventories and the security of materials and equipment within the center. Assists with group activities that require more than one staff monitor. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of skills development-type activities, rules and /or procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use of various related equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. May work an uncommon work schedule including weekends.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
