Duties
This position is located under the Louisville Field Office in Louisville, Kentucky.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Field Division's Budget Analyst responsible for and the program oversight to budget support and analysis functions for the Field Division compiling budget requirements, presentations, and executions, tracking and monitoring the functions and the analysis and preparation of budget related materials.
Qualifications
To qualify for GS-09, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07.
GS-09 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
monitoring and tracking obligations and expenditures; and
compiling budget data and preparing recurring reports.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
A combination of graduate education and experience.
To qualify for GS-11, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-09.
GS-11 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
Provides program oversight to budget support and analysis functions for the division; and
Assists and participates in the compilation of budget requirements, presentations and execution; and
Tracks and monitors functions, preparation and analysis of budget related materials.
OR
In lieu of specialized experience may qualify with Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related OR combination of education and experience.
OR
A combination of graduate education and experience.
