You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW) in the Aquisition and Readiness Assessment Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Corona CA.

Duties

You will serve as the AR Chief Information Technology Officer working as the technical subject matter expert in collaboration with the AR30 Division Chief Information Systems Architect. You will be responsible for division core technical capabilities including people, processes, and tools, maintaining the technical integrity and regulatory compliance of AR30 Information Systems, and supporting internal and external customers. You will develop and maintain AR30's Systems Engineering process for Software Development, Software Engineering, and Cybersecurity Readiness. You will collaborate with department personnel and project teams to develop or adapt information systems to meet new requirements. You will serve as a bridge between the department and branches and ensures alignment with the Command strategic direction. You will serve as a coach and mentor to division staff personnel and project managers. You will collaborate with AR30 management to develop and sustain a robust workforce with the certifications required to ensure that department information systems maintain compliance with all cybersecurity requirements.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Information Technology (IT) principles to design, develop, test, or maintain software applications AND monitoring and evaluating organizational adherence to established Information Technology (IT) cybersecurity compliance initiatives. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
