You will serve as a SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATE in the BEHAVIOR HEALTH PROGRAMS of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Duties

You will provide crisis intervention to clients in areas of domestic violence and mental health. Provides case management services for agency to ensure services are provided by agency in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. You will schedule client appointments and monitor to ensure attendance both with clinical provider appointments and various other rehabilitative treatment assignments. You will maintain up-to-date, accurate and complete records for all clients. You will communicate regularly with various command units Family Advocacy Program Officers (FAPOs) regarding client case status and FAP recommendations to the command. You will convey to commands the request for the issuance of a Military Protective Order (PMO) to ensure safety.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: legal information in the field of domestic violence and mental health, and knowledge of military, federal, state, and local human service policies, programs, procedures, organizations and functions.
