You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER in the Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz-S1 of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BLAZ.
Duties
You will be responsible for assisting in the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of installation/base logistics functions for Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz (MCBCB).
You will provide technical advice on logistics and advise the Installation and Base logistic Commanders/Directors on the logistics aspects of exercises, operations, and coordinate internal logistics products, services.
You will initiate and provide guidance to define the goals and scope of long-range plans, projects, studies and evaluations for all aspects of garrison logistics operations.
You will study and interpret policy statements, directives, regulations, procedures and individual instructions issued locally and by higher authority, governing or having bearing on logistics management.
You will serve as technical and administrative advisor and consultant to service activities and subordinate elements on matters of logistics policy, technical considerations and integration of functions of the department.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.

- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in the administration and management of planning, programming, budgeting, coordinating and directing logistics services; and providing long-range plans, projects, studies and evaluations of logistics operations.
