As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position is within the FAA, Aviation Safety (AVS), Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM), Program Management Division (AAM-100), Systems Management Branch (AAM-110).

Duties

Serves as the Supervisory Program Manager for the Systems Management Branch (AAM-110), providing authoritative advice, guidance and leadership in the formulation, development, and evaluation of projects and program areas.

• A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-K (FG-15) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J (FG-14) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: Experience providing oversight, direction, and evaluation of all responsible projects/programs to ensure compliance with agency regulations, programs, procedures and safety standards governing operations.ANDQUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF): Well Qualified applicants will demonstrate one or more of the following:1. Skill and experience with the use of Safety Management Systems (SMS).2. Knowledge of Geographical Information System (GIS), and skill and experience with applying concepts to programs.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their work history.
