THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D0883000 and is part of the CO JFHQ G4, National Guard.
Its purpose is to develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions.
Duties
Formulates and implements the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the STARC staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations. Develops, coordinates and implements policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved by the USPFO, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support and environmental compliance. Obtains data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness. Develops, staffs and implements logistics plans for material fielding, mission support and mobilization. Serves as the Information Systems/Automation Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Membership in the Colorado Army National Guard.
- Must hold the grade of E-5 thru O-3.
- Submit all required documentation.
- For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
Qualifications
Military Grades: E-5 thru O-3
1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.
2. An applicant's RESUME must provide, in detail, how they meet each specialized experience listed below.
3. It must be documented with "from (mm/yy)" and "to (mm/yy)" dates and description of the specialized experience.
4. If education or a degree is required as part of the "Specialized Experience", you must include transcripts.

Must have at least 36 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions.
2. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues.
3. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets 6 months Specialized Experience.
